Details: I´m selling my automatic transmission 2000 Hyundai Elantra with 129,xxx miles. The windows are tinted to I believe 20% and it has black rims, although they´re not in the best condition (a little rough). The tint is not a professional tint and you could remove it if you want. I bought this car in October of 2010, and it´s been fine up until kind of recently. Before I go into anything, I want to stress that I do NOT know exactly what is wrong with it, I am not a mechanic. The car is being sold as-is. With that being said:Cons:Engine has begun to sputter sometimes, making it difficult to drive occasionally. This usually happens when you slow down or come to a stop then try to move again. It´s almost like it´s wanting to stall out but it hasn´t yet. Sometimes it does this, sometimes it doesn´t. It will also sputter sometimes when you first start it up and rev the engine. Sometimes the check engine light will come on. As of right now, it´s not.I think it´s leaking a little bit of oil, but I could be wrong.When you turn on the A/C or the heat it makes a squealing noise for a minute. I´ve been told this is probably just a belt of some sort. A/C and heat DOES work, though.I know for a fact it could probably use a full tune up, as well as an oil change pretty soon. The tune up might fix the squealing noise.3 of the 4 tires will need to be replaced. They were Blizzak snow tires which got me around pretty well last winter, but they are basically bald now, especially the front drivers side. The front passenger side has been replaced with an all-season tire about 2 months ago and is good to go. The back ones have more tread on them but will need replaced.Car is not inspected. Ran out in May 2011. The registration sticker, however, is good.Drivers side headlight is out, but it´s just the bulb which I have for you. The reason why I have not done anything about this yet is because the battery is blocking it and the battery will need to be removed in order to change the headlight. That´s not really a big deal, though.Interior is a little rough with some of the fabric starting to come loose, but it´s a 12 year old car. A few rust spots by the wheel wells (again, 12 year old car). The rust spots could be fixed with a filler, and if you really wanted to go all out, you could paint it. The current paint is okay, although the clear coat is starting to chip on the spoiler. It has the typical wear and tear for being 12 years old. Pros:Ball joints/control arms replaced about a year agoWipers are fairly new and still in pretty good conditionAutomatic windows and doors (no keyless entry, sorry. That can be purchased though from any Pepboys or Auto Zone). Sometimes the windows go up a little slow but they work just fine.Exhaust up to the glasspack was replaced in March of 2011. As far as I know, the catalytic converter is still good but I haven´t checked that lately. When I had the exhaust replaced in March, they said it was still in good shape.The car DOES run although I´m not sure I´d recommend driving it home due to the sputtering and the fact that the inspection isn´t current, but it´s up to you.I have the title and a AAA/notary nearby so we can easily do a title transfer and the paperwork.As long as I have owned the car, it has not been in any accidents. As far as the previous owner goes I´m not too sure and to be honest I´ve never really ran a Carfax on it or anything.If you have a mechanic friend or know what you´re doing, this car could possibly be an easy fix depending on the issues and then you´d have a perfectly fine car. The car does pretty well in the snow when it has the appropriate tires, it´s not too heavy and it´s not too light.I´m asking 1200 obo because I need that money plus whatever else I can come up with for a new car to get me to and from work. Serious inquires only, please. Also I´m not looking to trade my car for your stack of Smashmouth CDs or a Huffy bicycle. Also, I´d like to sell the car whole because I´m not really trying to part it out if possible. Again, it´s $1200 or best offer, so don´t be afraid to e-mail me back with something. Details: I have a 2000 Hyundai Tiburon for sale, it has 135,000 miles and is a 5 speed. I bought the car in 2006 or 2007. When I bought the car it had over 100,000 miles on it so that gives you a feel of how much I actually drove it. I have replaced the starter, alternator, brakes (all around), calipers (all around), wheel bearings (all around), the front 2 axles, ball joints, the front hubs, wheel studs, clutch (not even a year old) I bought the whole kit so I also replaced the flywheel, disc, release bearing, alignment tool, pilot bearing, spline lube, spark plugs and wires, emergancy brake cables, tie rod ends on both front sides, ignition switch, manifold, catalystic converter. I have done alot to this car and now I am looking to buy a new vehicle, my number 724-516-4982, the car has a sunroof, cold AC, hot heat, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, very good car. The dent in the side of the car happened in june/july and I got an estimate and the body guy told me $300 which isnt bad at all. Do not hesitate to ask questions, very good first car especially to learn how to drive a stick. This is how I learned. I dont know why the pictures are sideways. The car gets over 300 miles to a tank, about 325-345. I have hust got a new transmission put into the car at 133,000 miles, so now there is only 2,000 miles on it now. Location: Mt.
