Details: I love my Sonata but with its 129K miles and my changing job that requires lots of travel I had to get a better MPG car. I kept my Hyundai for the the past 14 mos to allow my college-aged kids to drive when needed. This car is SAFE and handles so well I love driving it. This car has been well-maintained. As my kids are now 22 and older-it is time to unload the extra insurance. Excellent sound system, A/C, automatic windows, gets 24/27 mpg, cruize control, fog lights, power steering and gets to higher speeds seeminglessly! I have been the sole owner. I chose the light interior when I purchased it (2004) to avoid heat-absorbing dark colors in the summer time. It has it´s share of scratches and a dent near the headlight on passenger side, (courtesy of a deer as I turned right on a back road one night abt a year ago) As I was only going between 10 and 15 mph there was No interior damage or I would have gone through the expense to repair- which is not covered due to my deductible, needs hammering out. But as you can see it still looks good. There were no other accidents. The car also has its noisy features which includes an on and off again squeeky belt. I have had that changed and looked at by 4 mechanics who all say it is harmless and notorious to the Hyundai Sonata. This Car will NOT disappoint! The car is still very much drivable, but I want to be accurate and disclose what I know. Shifts are spot on and the V6 has a lot of power behind it.There are 3 minor dents, a small one on the hood, one on the driver side rear door that looks like a shopping cart hit it and one on the roof. Rear passenger wheel well beginning to rust. Tires about 60%. Everything works, rides smooth. Transmission shifts smoothly. Has always been a super reliable car since purchased in 2006.
