Details: I am trying to sell my 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe v6. The car still runs in great shape and has all the original interior in good condition. The engine is in great condition and has nothing wrong with it, though the ´Check Engine light´ flicks on occasionally. Has between 95000-96000 miles on it. SUV get´s around 15 mpg city, 20 mpg highway. Car has a few scratches on front driver and passenger door but not large. Front right side bumper has large scrape but isn´t very noticeable. Back hatch has dent sprayed with Rust-Oleum to stop any rust from spreading. interior of car is in great condition, power windows and original radio still work. Details: I have a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 that I want to sell. I am selling it strictly for the payoff on the loan, so the price isn´t negotiable at this point. The car has several problems. I bought it from a salvage title auto dealer a while back. It had collision damage on the driver side, but all it needed was a new driver side door and side skirt. Got the door, wrong year, so it needs a new door. The door works, but window doesnt roll down and is a slightly off fit, but closes fine. Needs a new side skirt. Needless to say, since I bought it in Kentucky, I had to fix several things to get it legal in Illinois, which I did, stickers on windshield, driver window, and door jam to prove it. I bought it because I thought that with a little by of money and elbow grease, I could turn this into a really cool little tuner, but as of late, I´ve taken a job that requires me to drive two hours round trip for work, and this car just isn´t Doing it, but I do drive it to work five days a week, so it runs just fine. 75,xxx miles on it, turns on perfect, goes and stops perfect, able to get in and go. V6 engine with no problems that I´m aware of. Needs the fuel pump looked into: the check engine light comes on and it reads fuel line error, the car has to be left running while filling with gas, other wise it´s hard to start back up, this why I think it´s the fuel pump. It needs a new windshield, rock popped up and cracked this one, not badEnough to block view, but it´s still an eyesore and illegal. The E- brake doesn´t work, don´t know why, but I never used it, that´s what ´park´ is for. Speaking of that, the lights under theGear column don´t work. Not a huge deal, but I don´t wanna leave anything out. It needs an alignment, but before that, it needs the frame pulled and straightenedOut from the collision damage. After the frame is pulled, it will most likely break the windshield (it is already cracked) so that will need replaced, then the alignment. I won´t say that they body work is the best in the world either, but it´s not entirely unsightly. Well maintained on the inside, just a few stains or smudges here and there.So as you can tell, it´s got a lotta work that needs done, but someone who is mechanically sound, and can spend a little on this could really like this car. I´m selling for the payoff on the loan, which is like 4847, but If I can get 4500, then I´ll cover the rest. If you would like to come see it or test drive it, just let me know.
